The scariest person during recruit training is the drill instructor. It’s his job to transform raw recruits from civilians into the lean, mean, fighting machine that can be a productive member of the armed forces. Hardcore professional soldiers, the fear and respect that the drill instructor instils is felt throughout a soldier’s years of service, and beyond.
MP Cost: 3 per level + 20 (vitality die)

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Drill Instructor.

Starting Feats: The drill instructor begins play with the following feats; Armor Proficiency (Light), Armor Proficiency (Medium), Weapon Group Proficiency (Hurled), Weapon Group Proficiency (Melee), Weapon Group Proficiency (Handgun), Weapon Group Proficiency (Rifle).
Regroup: Starting at 1st level, the drill instructor’s mere presense is enough to keep troops in line, granting a +2 circumstance bonus to all morale checks. This bonus increases to +4 at 8th level. For more information about morale, see the Modern Arms Guide, page 12.
Iron Will: At 2nd level, the drill instructor gains the Iron Will feat.
Don’t eyeball me: At 4th level, the drill instructor gains a +2 competence bonus with all Intimidate checks.
Damage Reduction: Starting at 6th level, the drill instructor is capable of shrugging off damage. Subtract 1 from the damage a drill instructor suffers every time he is dealt damage. At 10th level, subtract 2 every time he is dealt damage. This ability cannot reduce the damage from any single hit below 0, but it does stack with damage reduction provided by any armor or other gear the drill instructor is wearing. For more information about damage reduction, see the Spycraft Espionage Handbook, page 178.
