Bio
Background – Viktor Kushen is a child of the Soviet controlled Ukraine his father served in the Afghanistan Offensive as a helicopter pilot and was almost shot down multiple times by American supplied Stinger missiles. He originally grew up with a great deal of hate in his heart for America, after all its what he read everyday in Pravda growing up. After the Iron Curtain fell he realized how wrong this was. Growing up in a time of turmoil he joined the military hoping to become a helicopter pilot, of course he was put on logistics duty. Eventually he worked his way to Flight School and began piloting MiGs and Helicopters for the Ukrainian Air Force.
He did this for nearly a decade before setting out as a pilot for hire in Africa, he participated in rendition, supply, and attack air missions throughout the world. His first love though is helicopters and he was approached to form the core of the Erebus Air Support Team (E.A.S.T.) and trained some of the company’s first pilots. His consultation, training, and services are invaluable to the organization as many Erebus pilot’s whose aircraft suffered combat damage cite his training as the reason they managed to escape unharmed.
He has begun a relationship with a South African woman (Daniella Baker) and will occasionally take one of the corporate turboprops down there to spend some time with her, sometimes in defiance of Col. Grace.
Description – Viktor is a weathered character he has spent a lot of time in the cockpit and in unforgiving environs. He does wear a black zippered jacket with the Erebus vehicle logo on his back even when its very hot. His beard is immaculate even if it is beyond military regulations but no one seems to care when he shows up.
Attitude – Viktor is prone to acrobatic maneuvers (when in a helo that can handle it) but he has never had a crash in his flight history. He is noticeably cold when dealing with new people but is talkative when dealing with friends.
Means – Viktor has immense experience with air craft in particular and would never be caught dead without some kind of air support nearby (he also has a bad habit of wanting to fly the aircraft he is on even on commercial flights, this has got him into trouble several times). He has also been a stunt pilot on several movie productions (mostly medium budget stuff)
Methods – Viktor uses air-power whenever possible he doesn’t like to be stuck on the ground for very long but that doesn’t mean he can’t take care of himself. Viktor is mostly a support asset though rarely taking part in field actions beyond what is necessary.
Motives – Viktor is a mercenary pure and simple, he has a love for flying so as long as he can get paid to fly its a major win for him. Hes really good at other things to regularly taking part in races of all kinds (formula one cars, speedboats you name it, he even worked up a substantial debt to the Russian mob betting on races).
